Refund Policy

1. General Policy

At GrowthSite Lab, we are committed to delivering high-quality websites and services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

2.1. One-Time Projects

Because our one-time projects require 100% upfront payment before commencement, a full refund is only possible if requested before we begin the development process (design/architecture phase). Once work has started, the payment is considered earned and is non-refundable.

2.2. Growth Plan Subscriptions

Growth Plan Subscriptions: You may cancel your Growth Plan subscription at any time by notifying us via email or WhatsApp. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided for the month in which cancellation is requested. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the hosted website until the end of the paid period, after which it may be taken offline.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be issued when:

  • Client changes mind after work has commenced
  • Client fails to provide necessary content within agreed timeline
  • Client requests unreasonable changes outside original scope
  • Issues caused by third-party services (hosting, domain registrars)

4. How to Request a Refund

Email refunds@risesitelab.com with subject line: "Refund Request — [Project Name]"

Include:

  • Full name
  • Project name or invoice number
  • Reason for refund request
  • Date of payment

5. Refund Processing Time

  • Refund requests reviewed within 3 business days
  • Approved refunds processed within 7–14 business days
  • Refunds issued to original payment method

6. Chargeback Policy

Clients who initiate a chargeback without first requesting a refund will have services immediately suspended and be responsible for all chargeback fees.

8. EU Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

Withdrawal Period:

  • For one-time services: 14 days from the date of payment (if no work has commenced)

Exceptions:

The right of withdrawal does NOT apply if:

  • Work has already begun with your explicit consent
  • You have acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once work is completed

Email legal@risesitelab.com with subject: "Withdrawal — [Invoice Number]"

9. Work Commencement Confirmation

Before any payment is processed, the Client must explicitly confirm that they want work to begin immediately.

Legal basis:

Under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(a), the right of withdrawal does NOT apply to service contracts where the consumer has expressly requested the trader to begin the performance of the service before the withdrawal period ends.

Without confirmation:

If the Client does NOT provide explicit confirmation, GrowthSite Lab will delay work commencement for 14 days.

With confirmation:

Once the Client provides explicit confirmation and payment is received:

  • The 14-day cooling-off period is WAIVED
  • No refund is available once work has started
